Wayne County Hospital is home of the Wayne County Ambulance and provides 24 hour emergency medical services. Staffed with a highly trained and experienced team, the Emergency Department provides exceptional care for all patients. Many of our EMTs are crossed trained and licensed Registered Nurses.
Designated as a Level IV Trauma Center, the emergency department provides emergency care and offers stabilization and transfer services for patients requiring more specialized care. Ambulance and medical helicopter transfer services are available with highly trained emergency personnel.
