Dr. Mitchell Schmidt, MD, joined Wayne County Hospital in September 2022. He received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE in 2019. He then completed his family practice residency at Monument Health in Rapid City, SD. In addition, Dr. Schmidt received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics (Honors Program) with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Schmidt currently resides in Corydon. He practices family medicine and obstetrics and is currently accepting new patients.
