WCH Receives Safety Award

Corydon, IA, September 19, 2013: Wayne County Hospital and Clinic System received the No Lifting/Strain Injuries Award from the ServiShare/LaMair Mulock Condon/Farm Bureau Workers Compensation Program during the Workers Compensation Recognition Ceremony in recognition of hospitals that have excelled in employee safety this week.

The ServiShare Safety Award program began in 2008. To qualify for the No Lifting/Strain Injuries Award, a hospital must have a frequency rate of 0% in the lifting/strains injury type for a two year period ending June 30, 2013. Claims with $0 paid by Farm Bureau also qualify.
