Corydon, July 15, 2013: Wayne County Hospital is pleased to welcome Debra Neuharth, Pharm.D., D.O. to the South Central Iowa Medical Clinic effective August 1, providing Family Practice and Obstetric care. Originally, from Creston, Iowa, Dr. Neuharth was awarded her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2010 from Des Moines University, and her Doctor of Pharmacy and 2006 from Drake University. Dr. Neuharth has received several recognitions for her high academic achievements.

Not only does she bring additional talent and skills as a general family practitioner, she is experienced in obstetrical care, as well.” commented Daren Relph, CEO. Dr. Neuharth completed her three year Family Medicine Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Omaha, a multidisciplinary tertiary hospital in June 2013. Dr. Neuharth is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

Dr. Neuharth has been active in community service on and off campus working as a tutor, serving as a Des Moines University School Ambassador and assisting with numerous organized events such as AIDS Walk/Run, Susan G. Koman, and many others.
