Corydon, October 5, 2012: We are pleased to announce the promotion of Julie Rupe to the position of Clinic System Director for the Wayne County Hospital and Clinic System effective immediately. Julie’s new responsibilities will include planning, organizing, developing, evaluating and effectively directing all clinic locations and programs in order to ensure the delivery of high quality care and services consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices for Rural Health Clinics.
In addition, Julie will also oversee the WCH Specialty Clinic. Julie will be actively involved to assure high quality care while achieving short and long-term operational goals and objectives for each site. Due to this promotion some of Julie’s current day-to-day tasks will be reassigned.
While this position reports to the Associate Administrator it does provide much more direct supervisory responsibility and independence. Julie is responsible for the oversight of all clinic location activities. She will also serve as the provider liaison offering support and problem solving for questions or issues as they come up.
