Corydon, October 7, 2013: Wayne County Hospital is pleased to welcome Gina Rose as the new director for Murphy Placed Assisted Living in Corydon. Ms. Rose states, “I chose to work in the assisted living industry because I really enjoy working with the elderly. I like that the environment is not as institutional as some Long Term Care settings and more like a home. I started in 2003, and have enjoyed what I do so much I’ve stayed in the industry ever since.”

Ms. Rose received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from AIB College of Business in Des Moines, Iowa, in 2010. She also received her Associate of Arts degree from Indian Hills Community College, Ottumwa, Iowa, in 2007, with a Business Concentration; and completed their Licensed Practical Nurse program in 2003.

Originally from Mystic, Iowa, Ms. Rose moved to Centerville as a teenager where she continues to live today. In her spare time she enjoys reading, fishing and spending time with her son, Jagger, family and friends. She loves the outdoors and is an avid storm chaser.
