Corydon, October 16, 2012: During the past several months adjustments have been made in the admnistration of our clinic system. Susan Henderson who was the Clinic Administrator has assumed a more administrative role and has gradually become less involved in the day-to-day operations of the clinic system.
Susan’s role has developed into the Director of Admnistrative Services and reports directly to the CEO. She is now responsible for medical staff credentialing, provider enrollments, all ctonracts, and coordinates the quality improvement reports. In addition, she provides the minutes for the Medical Staff and Board of Director meetings, she is the administrator of the Carelearning and Track It programs and provides administrative presence on several committees. Over the past year, she has directed the Rural Healath Clinic accreditation process for Humeston, South Central Iowa Medical Clinic and Seymour clinics.
Susan began her career in healthcare at the Corydon Medical Clinic in 1980, where she was clinic office manager until the clinic merger with Wayne Family Medical Center in 2007. Susan joined the hsopital staff in 1996 when the Corydon Medical Clinic was acquired. She brings extensive insight and expertise to her position.
