Corydon, January 2, 2013: We are pleased to announce David L. Dollins, D.O. officially joined the Wayne County Hospital (WCH) Medical Staff in October 2012, providing Emergency Department medical care coverage under the direction of Dr. Babar Ahmed. Dr. Dollins typically covers 12 24-hour shifts per month. Dr. Dollins has been working as part of the WCH Emegency Department team since April 2011, as a member of the EmCare staff. Dr. Dollins chose emergency medicine because of the intensity and scope of cases that present in the emergency room setting.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Dr. Dollins received his Doctor of Osteopathy from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Erie, PA, in 2008, and concluded his Family Medicine and Osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) internship and residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center, Kirksville, MO in 2010. He also received his BA degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Texas, Dallas in 1991.
Dr. Dollins and his wife, Karlene, make their home in Kirksville, MO.
