Advanced Cancer Care & Infusion Therapy

Wayne County Hospital and Mission Cancer + Blood have joined forces to elevate cancer care services for patients across southcentral Iowa and northcentral Missouri. This strategic partnership aims to streamline treatment, reducing the necessity for extensive travel and providing a more accessible range of comprehensive cancer care options to the local community. Together, we prioritize delivering high-quality cancer prevention and treatments to enhance patient outcomes within the familiar surroundings of their own community.

In collaboration with Mission Cancer + Blood, Wayne County Hospital brings many benefits to our patients locally, including on-site labs, state-of-the-art chemotherapy infusion suites, financial counseling, access to clinical trials and multidisciplinary tumor boards. Each patient is assigned a dedicated cancer care team consisting of a physician, nurse and potentially an advanced practice provider to oversee their care and advocate on their behalf. A personalized treatment plan is tailored to each unique diagnosis, eliminating the need for out-of-state travel for top-tier medical care.
