Angela Downs has been with Wayne County Hospital for 12 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University followed by her Master of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain 3 years later.
Medical-Surgical nursing and Emergency Department nursing gave her the clinical expertise and opportunity to pursue her Nurse Practitioner degree. She has been working as a Nurse Practitioner at South Central Iowa Clinic since earning that degree.
Angela and her husband live in Wayne County and enjoy boating and camping with their family. Their family consists of 3 children that they adopted through foster care and 1 biological child. They are also grandparents to a granddaughter.
