Corydon, November 27, 2013: Wayne County Hospital and Clinic System (WCHCS) is pleased to announce Eric Palmer, D.P.T. as Director of the Rehabilitation Services Department. “We are very fortunate to have someone of Dr. Palmer’s skill and expertise to assume the management of our Rehabilitation Services Department. Dr. Palmer has been with us since 2009, is an excellent therapist and has also demonstrated valuable leadership skills. We are delighted to have him join the management team,” commented Daren Relph, CEO.
“I am excited for the opportunity to lead the great group of professionals that make up our rehabilitation services team, and continue to expand the care and services we are able to offer our patients,” commented Dr. Palmer.
Dr. Palmer earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Des Moines University, Des Moines, IA in 2009. He was awarded his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science degree from the University of Sioux Falls, SD in 2006. A graduate of Wayne Community High School, he is a native of Wayne County.
Dr. Palmer’s professional affiliations include the American Physical Therapy Association, Iowa Physical Therapy Association and the Christian Medical & Dental Associations.
Dr. Palmer and his wife, Beth and son, Eli, make their home in Corydon.
