Wayne County Hospital has part-time stock clerk position open in our Purchasing Department for two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday from Noon – 6:00 pm) and fill in as needed. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and issuing materials, supplies, and equipment; takes inventory; unpacks shipments received and inspects items for damage or defects; verifies accuracy of shipments; fills requisitions from stock and delivers to requesting departments; maintains hospital inventory at appropriate levels; process patient supply charges in a timely manner; processes purchase orders; and enters vendor invoice information into accounts payable system.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and basic clerical skills required. Mandatory reporting and HIPAA certified, or must obtain certification upon hire. Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills with a high attention to detail required. This successful candidate will maintain a neat and professional appearance and be a team player. Punctuality and attendance is required. Wayne County Hospital is an affiliate of MercyOne.
