Wayne County Hospital has a full-time Environmental Specialist Team Lead position open in our Environmental Services department. This full-time position will be nights from 3:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m., rotating weekends/holidays, and on-call rotation. Position oversees the management and direction of duties and responsibilities of the department in the absence of the Director. Responsibilities include operation of commercial grade machines, heavy lifting and repetitive motion, thorough cleaning of patient and non-patient areas to maintain hospital and clinics in a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. The selected candidate must perform all duties following safety and sanitation practices and regulations.
Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required with the ability to work independently under moderate supervision with attention to detail. The selected candidate must successfully complete an in-service training and have an understanding of HIPAA, EMTALA and patient privacy regulations and will be Mandatory Reporting Certified, or within 180 days of hire.
