2009 WCHAuxiliary Hosts Successful Raffle, Bazaar & Auction

The WCH Auxiliary annual Bazaar & Auction held Thursday, November 19th at the Corydon United Methodist Church was a rousing success taking in a total of $9000.

Under the leadership of Bonita Wells, President, and Bazaar Chairperson, Natalie Burnside, the Auxiliary received donations for their Raffle, held special craft sessions, at the hospital with auxiliary volunteers creating seasonal items to include at the Bazaar. The food table was especially tempting this year with an abundance of delectable treats from homemade breads, pies, fudges and jams to choose from.

The exceptional meal was prepared under the direction of Angela Gambil and hospital employees who dedicated their time to help in the kitchen. A selection of five different homemade soups, chili, pies and bars made bringing the family to dinner fun and enjoyable!

We can't forget Santa Claus & his Elves stopped by with those special moments caught in
photographs taken by Angela Gambill of Angela's Portraits. The kids also enjoyed the "cakewalk" which has gained popularity this year.

Our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who put such a tremendous effort into making this evening not only fun but a fabulous success that benefits our hospital and our community.

Thank you all!
