Corydon, May 27, 2016: Wayne County Hospital and Clinic System is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Joshwa Tromblee. Originally, from the Kenia Peninsula, Alaska, Dr. Tromblee received his Master’s of Science Degree in Biology and Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Chemistry with Honors from Eastern New Mexico University in 1998. Dr. Tromblee earned his Doctor of Osteopathy medical degree from Des Moines University in 2007. He completed his internship at Iowa Lutheran Family Medicine Residency Program in 2008, followed by his residency at Broadlawns Medical Center, Family Medicine Program in Des Moines in 2010. Dr. Tromblee is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

Dr. Tromblee has extensive experience in the full spectrum of family practice, obstetrics and emergency medicine. His focus now is on family practice and emergency medicine. He has also served as a clinic medical director and has disaster management experience.

Dr. Tromblee has worked in Iowa his entire medical career and enjoys the rural lifestyle and family oriented communities. Dr. Tromblee and his wife, Deb, have three children. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys the hunting and fishing opportunities Iowa has to offer.

Dr. Tromblee currently works a limited schedule at the South Central Iowa Medical Clinic, as well as, providing Emergency Department coverage. Appointments with Dr. Tromblee at the South Central Iowa Medical Clinic may be scheduled by calling 641-872-2063.
