Hospital Honored as Chamber’s Business of the Year

(Corydon, January 21, 2015) Wayne County Hospital and Clinic System (WCHCS) was the recipient of the Corydon/Allerton Chamber 2014 Business Chamber Member of the Year award. Mike Thomas, Associate Administrator, for the hospital was presented the award at the annual Chamber dinner held Monday, January 19th at Ludlow’s Steakhouse in Corydon.

The Business of the Year Award and Individual Chamber Award is a new recognition program the Chamber has initiated this year. The individual recognition was awarded to Mark Nessen. Criteria for the Business Chamber Member of the Year include: ‘contributes and promotes growth, stability and improvement of the area which the Chamber serves and gives generously of themselves and/or staff in time and resources to the Chamber.’ Nominations where submitted by Chamber members.

The Chamber works hard at supporting the community and we’re fortunate to have staff who take an active interest in helping with those efforts,” commented Mike Thomas, Associate Administrator.
