Wayne County Hospital and Clinics is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of the da Vinci X Surgical System. This surgical system can be used for minimally invasive surgical procedures such as hernia repair, fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic prolapse and hysterectomies. We are truly thrilled to be a leader in this field and look forward to bringing minimally invasive surgical options to the southern Iowa region.
Some of the benefits of this system include: smaller incisions, reduced complication rate, reduced length of hospital stay and reduced blood loss. Our surgeons, Dr. Earle Pescatore and Dr. Brandon Jenson are both da Vinci trained surgeons and are excited to incorporate our new equipment into their surgical practice to enhance patient care and increase surgical outcomes.
