A graduate of Pleasantville Community High School, Pleasantville, Iowa, Amy completed her undergraduate studies at Simpson College, Indianola, Iowa followed by her medical training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences, Denver, Colorado.
She is board certified by the National Commission of Certified Physician Assistants and the Iowa Board of Physician Assistant Examiners.
Together with her husband, Gary, Amy lives in Corydon with their two sets of twins. She is an avid outdoor sports woman and jogger.
