Ways to Give

Wayne County Hospital and Clinic System Contributions & Gift Giving

Investing in health care for the future.

The Wayne County Hospital accepts contributions from individuals, organizations and/or companies. These generous gifts are the mainstay for many projects and medical equipment upgrades to uphold our high standard of care. Your support enables Wayne County Hospital and Clinic System to continue to grow in scope and provide exceptional services. Donations of any size can help you experience the joy of giving.

Gifts in Memory or Honor

This traditional donation expresses deep personal connections and is made in remembrance or honor of an individual or family. There is no more meaningful way to celebrate an individual than to make a gift that will benefit others far into the future. The Wayne County Hospital and Clinic System “Buy-A-Brick” program is on-going and provides the opportunity to personalize your brick with a special message, commemorate an event, or honor your family members or friends. Cost is $125 for the small 4×8″ brick and $500 for the large 8×8″ brick. Engraved bricks are placed in our Patio of Progress located in front of the WCH Emergency Department. These gifts create lasting symbols of friendship, love and respect.

Cash Donation

This gift is made for specific use or general purpose without memorial intent. It can be made as a “one-time” gift or can be spread over several payments through a pledge.

Bequest or Bequeath

This type of gift is usually the disposition of personal property in the form of life insurance or as part of a will or estate planning.

Appreciated Assets

Gifts of stocks, real estate, personal property, life insurance, IRA accounts allow the donor to receive a tax deduction based on the asset’s current market value.
