Patient Satisfaction Survey Results

At Wayne County Hospital and Clinic System we understand you, our patients, are the best judge of our performance. We monitor patient satisfaction results carefully and share this data with our employees as we continuously work to improve the quality, safety and consistency of care provided throughout our organization.

Since 2005, we have contracted with Press Ganey and Associates as our independent survey vendor. Patient satisfaction surveys are mailed to a random sampling of our patients.

We are two time recipient (2010 & 2009) of the Press Ganey Summit Award for outstanding patient satisfaction in our Emergency Department. These awards recognized performance excellence in the top 5% across the nation for 3 consecutive years.

Listening is a valuable skill that we practice in order to understand what our patients want or may need. Establishing trust and building a good relationship with our patients is vital to providing the level of care we know you deserve. It is our intent to exceed the expectations of our patients and to provide a service that will have patients choosing to return to Wayne County Hospital and Clinic System in the future.

Quality Improvement Program

Quality improvement is a passion we cultivate.  Our Quality Improvement Program utilizes systematic and objective assessments of our processes and outcomes to measure our performance. This formalized reporting process promotes improvement to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the medical staff and our patients and their families.  We understand the importance of working outside our comfort zone to achieve service excellence. We are here for each other, for our patients and for ourselves to do the best we can every day.
